Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for the Town of Renfrew. Temperatures are expected to approach 40+ degrees with the humidex today and this week. 

A reminder for residents that cooling areas and water refill stations are available at the following locations:

• Renfrew Library: Open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9AM – 5PM; and, Tuesday and Thursday from 10AM – 8PM
• myFM Centre: Open 7AM – 10PM daily (including the Renfrew Rotary Splash Pad that is open from 8 AM - 9 PM daily). 
• Golden Age Activity Centre: Open 10AM – 3 PM daily
   

Extreme heat can pose serious health risks - especially for older adults, young children, and those with pre-existing conditions.
