Dangerously hot and humid conditions are expected in the Renfrew area over the next few days. To help residents stay safe and cool, the Town of Renfrew has designated the following cooling areas and water refill stations:

Renfrew Public Library

• Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

myFM Centre

• Open daily: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Golden Age Activity Centre

• Open daily: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated, and check in on family members, friends, neighbours, and others who may be more vulnerable to extreme heat.

For your safety, never leave children or pets unattended in a parked vehicle.
