The Town of Renfrew is proud to offer a variety of sponsorship opportunities that support the many events, programs, and initiatives that bring our community together throughout the year. Sponsorship plays a vital role in helping the Town deliver high-quality, inclusive experiences for residents and visitors, while allowing us to continue growing and enhancing these events year after year.

In return, sponsorship provides local businesses and organizations with valuable marketing and promotional opportunities. By partnering with the Town of Renfrew, sponsors gain visibility, brand recognition, and the chance to connect directly with our community in meaningful ways. Public Skating

Support community recreation by sponsoring a public skate at the Town of Renfrew. The sponsorship fee is $175 per one-hour skate.

Available skate options include regular public skates or Tots and Seniors skates. Sponsorship benefits include recognition through a social media shout-out as part of the Town’s public skating promotions.

Program Guide

The Town of Renfrew publishes a quarterly Program Guide featuring spring, summer, fall, and winter programming offered by the Town. The guide is distributed in both print and digital formats and is viewed by thousands of residents and facility users each quarter. Your advertisement will be placed is as a half-page ad, providing strong visibility. Advertising in the Program Guide is an effective and affordable way to promote your business, reaching the community through both print and online channels.

FrewFest Family Day Winter Carnival

FrewFest Family Day Winter Carnival is a beloved annual event that brings the community together each winter for a fun-filled celebration of the season. Held on Family Day weekend, the carnival features a variety of free, family-friendly activities, delicious food, and exciting winter-themed experiences for residents and visitors of all ages.

Designed to celebrate community spirit and active outdoor fun, FrewFest offers an exciting weekend packed with seasonal activities that create lasting memories for families. This signature winter event highlights Renfrew’s commitment to inclusive, engaging programming while bringing the community together to enjoy everything winter has to offer.

Colour Fun Run!/Walk!/Roll!

The Colour Fun Run!/Walk!/Roll! is a vibrant and joyful community event held each June, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities to move, celebrate, and have fun together. This colourful morning is filled with energy, laughter, and community spirit as participants make their way through the course surrounded by bursts of colour and encouragement.

Thanks to the incredible support of runners, walkers, rollers, volunteers, and sponsors, funds raised through this event are shared between Renfrew Pride and the Renfrew Public Library. The Colour Fun Run!/Walk!/Roll! celebrates inclusivity, community connection, and giving back, making it a highlight of Renfrew’s summer event season.

Canada Day

Canada Day in Renfrew is a family-friendly celebration full of fun, community spirit, and local pride. Held at Ma-te-Way Park (with indoor options in case of rain), the day features live music, delicious food, interactive activities for all ages, community displays, and more. The festivities culminate with a spectacular fireworks display at dusk, bringing friends and families together to celebrate Canada.

As part of the day, the Town also recognizes the Volunteer of the Year Award winners, honoring individuals, youth, seniors, and organizations who make Renfrew a vibrant, caring community. It’s a day of celebration, connection, and gratitude - an event that truly brings the community together!

Craft Beer & Food Truck Festival - Presented by Zohr Family Funeral Home Inc.

Renfrew’s Annual Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival returns each fall on the first Saturday of October, bringing together local craft breweries, delicious eats from a variety of food trucks, and live entertainment in a lively, community-focused setting. This popular event celebrates local flavours and small businesses while offering residents and visitors a fun way to enjoy the season and connect in the heart of Renfrew.

Monster Mash Family Dance

After the goblins and ghouls finish trick-or-treating downtown during Freaky Friday, families are invited to the Renfrew Legion for an evening of Halloween fun. The Monster Mash features dancing, snacks, costume and pumpkin-carving contests, crafts, and more - making it a festive and family-friendly way to continue the celebration.

Event sponsorship helps support the purchase of refreshments, craft materials, activity supplies, and other event necessities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
