Heritage Renfrew Open House Saturday, Sept 26

Take dig into local history at Heritage Renfrew's open house from 1-5 pm, Saturday, Sept 26 at the Renfrew Information Centre behind the caboose on O'Brien Road. Come and meet the volunteers who work to preserve Renfrew's history in documents, photos, audio visual displays and digital records. 
Explore items from Heritage Renfrew's collections including books, documents, newspaper microfilms, photographs, family histories and more. The event is free and refreshments will be served. Visitors are encouraged to bring their historic pictures, stories and questions. People interested in volunteering with Heritage Renfrew/Renfrew Archives are encouraged to attend.

NEUTER SCOOTER IS COMING TO TOWN! BOOK FOR THE OCTOBER 7TH SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC!

Neuter Scooter is a transportation resource available locally for cats to help provide access to spay/neuter services. 

CARE Animal Rescue is collaborating again with The Ontario SPCA & Humane Society of Renfrew County and the Southeastern Ontario Spay Neuter Clinic in Trenton to provide a cost-effective spay/neuter clinic for cats on October 7th at their Trenton Clinic. These services include transportation to the clinic, same day service (no overnight stays) Cats must be dropped off early in the morning at 190 Mask Rd. Renfrew (in the parking lot by the yellow caboose) and collected that same evening. (Exact time to be determined.)

Fee Guide: PAYMENT IS DUE IN FULL BY WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 30TH.

All participating cats must be healthy and between 12 weeks and 5 years old. Male cats must have two visible testicles.

Male Cat $129.95 tax included

Female Cat $237.30 tax included

Also included is a physical exam and nail trim.

CARE Animal Rescue will pay for the transportation and provide a rabies vaccination at no extra charge.

Registration is now open for the October 7th Neuter Scooter!

This 8-week structured, closed group will begin at 6:30pm on September 21, 2026 and gather weekly on Mondays (excluding Thanksgiving Monday).
