Zoning By-law 46-2010
The Town's Zoning By-law governs the physical development of properties. Â It addresses matters including setbacks, lot coverage, building height, accessory buildings, parking, and other performance standards. Â It also establishes general provisions governing land use and development throughout the Town. Â The definitions of the zoning by-law assist in interpreting the various permitted land uses and zone provisions established therein. The Zoning By-law is applicable law with respect to the Ontario Building Code, and must be complied with for the issuance of a building permit. Â Property owners can locate their property on Schedule A to the Zoning By-law, identify the applicable zone classification applicable to their property, and locate the corresponding zone provisions in the By-law text. Â The general provisions of the Zoning By-law apply to all properties in the Town.
