Zoning By-law 46-2010

The Town's Zoning By-law governs the physical development of properties.  It addresses matters including setbacks, lot coverage, building height, accessory buildings, parking, and other performance standards.  It also establishes general provisions governing land use and development throughout the Town.  The definitions of the zoning by-law assist in interpreting the various permitted land uses and zone provisions established therein. The Zoning By-law is applicable law with respect to the Ontario Building Code, and must be complied with for the issuance of a building permit.  Property owners can locate their property on Schedule A to the Zoning By-law, identify the applicable zone classification applicable to their property, and locate the corresponding zone provisions in the By-law text.  The general provisions of the Zoning By-law apply to all properties in the Town.
