The Renfrew Fire Department has issued a Total Burn Ban due to extremely dry conditions, with the current fire danger rating set to EXTREME.

During a Total Burn Ban, all open-air burning is strictly prohibited, including campfires and fireworks.

Anyone found in violation may be subject to fines and will be held responsible for all costs associated with investigating, controlling, and extinguishing any fire they ignite or leave unattended.

This ban will remain in effect until further notice.
