Join us for the Renfrew SuperWalk 2026 from 9:30a.m – 12:00p.m. on September 13th, 2026, at myFM Centre, 1 Mateway Park Drive, Renfrew for a community event raising awareness and support for people living with Parkinson’s disease and their families. This family-friendly walk welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to come together, connect with the community, and make a difference. SuperWalk events support Parkinson Canada’s programs, services, advocacy efforts, and research initiatives.
Admission is free, however, online registration prior to the event is preferred. While there is no cost to participate, donations and fundraising are encouraged to help support those affected by Parkinson’s disease and advance research toward better treatments and care.
Whether you walk in support of a loved one, as someone impacted by Parkinson’s, or simply to support a meaningful cause, every step helps strengthen our community and create a brighter future for those living with Parkinson’s. Come walk with us at the Renfrew SuperWalk 2026 and help make every step count.

Heritage Renfrew Open House Saturday, Sept 26
Take dig into local history at Heritage Renfrew's open house from 1-5 pm, Saturday, Sept 26 at the Renfrew Information Centre behind the caboose on O'Brien Road. Come and meet the volunteers who work to preserve Renfrew's history in documents, photos, audio visual displays and digital records.
Explore items from Heritage Renfrew's collections including books, documents, newspaper microfilms, photographs, family histories and more. The event is free and refreshments will be served. Visitors are encouraged to bring their historic pictures, stories and questions. People interested in volunteering with Heritage Renfrew/Renfrew Archives are encouraged to attend.
