Start the evening with a presentation by bestselling author and speaker Yvonne Heath, who reminds us that we don’t need perfect words, we simply need to Just Show Up. Yvonne will discuss grief, loss, and practical tips on how to support the people in your life who are grieving.

While you learn and reflect, enjoy refreshments and an artisanal dessert charcuterie box thoughtfully prepared by Hospice Renfrew.

To wrap up the evening, you’re invited to light a memorial candle in honour of a loved one and take a walk-through Hospice Renfrew’s ice lantern garden path, a temporary art installation winding through the hospice grounds and providing a unique opportunity to pause, remember, and commemorate those we are grieving.

Hospice Renfrew invites you to join us for a gentle and supportive grief workshop, Navigating the Holidays. 
The holiday season is often described as a time of joy, togetherness, and celebration. But when we are grieving the loss of someone we love, this time of year can feel especially difficult. 

Together, we will explore why the holidays can be particularly challenging when we are grieving, ways to navigate difficult emotions and unexpected grief triggers, and the importance of offering ourselves compassion, understanding, and permission to experience the season in our own way. We will begin our time together with a meaningful ritual of remembrance, creating space to honour and remember the special people we carry in our hearts.
