The Town of Renfrew has received a request from the Renfrew Tennis Club to rename Court Two at Ma-te-Way Park to Garry Irving Court and Court Three to Robert Pelletier Court.
This request recognizes the exceptional contributions of two long-serving volunteers.
Garry Irving has supported the club for over 40 years as an instructor, league organizer, and president, helping build a strong and inclusive tennis community.
Robert Pelletier has volunteered for 49 years, leading free clinics, organizing leagues, and donating lesson proceeds to the Renfrew Food Bank, while also supporting youth and health initiatives in the community.
As part of the Town’s Commemorative Naming Policy, notice of the request is being shared with the public.
