Please note that Councillor Andrew Dick has provided notice to Reeve Emon of a temporary leave of absence which began November 3rd, with a planned return on November 21st. Due to Council’s meeting schedule, the announcement of this leave was made at last night’s Council meeting of November the 12th, the first Council meeting held since notice was provided.

“I had requested the note from Councillor Andrew Dick as I wanted to be sure we stopped calling his name as part of the roll. Continuing to call his name might suggest to some that he was deliberately missing Council and that would be unfair to him, his family, and the community,” noted Reeve Emon.  “Andrew and Council work hard on behalf of the residents and businesses in Renfrew and he is expected to resume his duties at the November 25th Council meeting”. 

The Town extends its best wishes to Councillor Dick and looks forward to welcoming him back to the Council table later this month.
