The Town of Renfrew is pleased to invite locals to a special event celebrating the Grand Opening of the Bonnechere River Trail. This is a new community-built trail in Renfrew that follows the Bonnechere river, and is designed to showcase the natural beauty of our Town and enhance the local outdoor experiences.

The official opening will take place on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the trailhead located at 390 Forestview Crescent. The morning will begin with opening remarks and a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark this exciting milestone for Renfrew. Following the ceremony, we invite attendees to stay and enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities, including a guided trail walk, nature-themed scavenger hunts, and light refreshments.
