April 28th marks the National Day of Mourning - a time to remember and honour workers who have been killed, injured, or made ill due to workplace incidents. It is also a moment to reflect on the importance of health and safety in every workplace.

Community members are invited to join a commemorative ceremony led by the Renfrew and District Labour Council at 12:00 p.m. on April 28th at the Workers Memorial, located by the Swinging Bridge in O’Brien Park.
