The Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) will be hosting a public open house regarding the Highway 17 Arnprior to Renfrew Twinning Project on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

The open house will provide residents and stakeholders with an opportunity to learn more about the project, including updates on the design process, activities completed to date, project milestones, and next steps.

The session will also outline future opportunities for the public to stay informed and provide feedback through the formal consultation process, including an upcoming Public Information Centre (PIC) that will take place following the selection of the detailed design engineering service provider through the current Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

Residents are encouraged to attend and speak with ministry staff.
