Departure of Director Kelly Latendresse

Director Kelly Latendresse leaving her role with the municipality effective January 19, 2026.

The Town of Renfrew announces that Kelly Latendresse, Director of Community and Recreational Services and Library CEO, will be leaving her role with the municipality effective January 19, 2026 as she accepts a new position with the Ottawa Public Library.

Director Latendresse leaves behind a decade-long career with the Town of Renfrew, during which she served in several senior leadership roles, including Library CEO, Director of Community and Recreational Services, and Acting Chief Administrative Officer. Throughout her tenure, Kelly played a key role in advancing municipal services, strengthening community programming, and supporting organizational growth.

“Kelly has been a dedicated and respected leader within our organization for more than ten years,” said Mayor Sidney. “Her passion for public service, commitment to our community, and willingness to step into leadership roles when needed have left a lasting impact on the Town of Renfrew, and we are very grateful. On behalf of Council, staff, and the community, I thank Kelly for her many contributions and wish her continued success in this next chapter. She will be greatly missed in our organization.”

In the interim, internal staff will manage the department to ensure continuity of service while a replacement strategy is determined.
