The Town of Renfrew is proud to celebrate the incredible individuals, groups, and organizations that help make our community such a special place to call home.

Do you know someone who goes above and beyond to support others, strengthen our community, or lead with kindness, passion, and dedication? Now is your chance to recognize their impact.

🏆 Award Categories:
• Citizen of the Year (Individual only)
• Community Champion of the Year (Individual or Group)
• Youth Volunteer (25 & under – Individual or Group)
• Senior Volunteer (65+ – Individual or Group)
• Non-Profit of the Year (Registered charity, non-profit, or not-for-profit organization)

📍 Eligibility:
• Individuals must reside in the Town of Renfrew
• Organizations/groups must operate within the Town of Renfrew

📝 How to Nominate:
Submit your nomination by emailing Hannah MacMillan at hmacmillan@renfrew.ca with the subject line: “2026 Citizen of the Year Awards”, or complete our digital form option linked here. 

Nominations can also be dropped off at:
• Town Hall
• myFM Centre Office
• Renfrew Public Library

Your submission should include:
✔ Your name and contact information
✔ The nominee’s name and contact information
✔ The award category
✔ A detailed description of their contributions and community impact

⏰ Deadline for nominations:
Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

Please note: Nominees are judged solely on the information provided in the nomination, so be sure to share their story and highlight the difference they’ve made in our community.

Nominees will be announced the week of June 16, with award recipients recognized during a special Citizen of the Year Award Ceremony as part of the Town of Renfrew’s Canada Day celebrations on July 1st!
