The Town of Renfrew is proceeding with the design of the reconstruction of Argyle, Lochiel, Opeongo and Hall. The project limits are: Argyle and Lochiel Street from Bridge Street to Opeongo Road, Opeongo Road from Argyle Street South to Bonnechere Street South and Hall Avenue from Plaunt Street South to Barr Street.

The project includes watermain replacement, potential improvements to the storm/sanitary sewers and road reconstruction including sidewalk, curbs, new water services to the property line. Construction is proposed to take place over two construction seasons, in 2023 and 2024.

The Project is being completed with financial contributions from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP Green Stream 2021 Intake) and the Town of Renfrew.

The first Public Information Session for the Argyle/Lochiel Reconstruction project will be held on:
Date: Wednesday, January 25, 2023
Open House: 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Renfrew’s Visitor Information Centre
190 Mask Road, Renfrew, Ontario

The Public Information Session provides the public an opportunity to learn more about the project and provide comments on the proposed works.
Representatives from the Town of Renfrew and Jp2g Consultants Inc. will be available to discuss the project, answer questions and receive comments.
