The 2023 Renfrew Santa Claus Parade will be on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
This will be an evening parade beginning at 6:00 pm.
Register your float by Thursday, November 23. CLICK HERE for registration form.
There is no theme for the parade. Participants are encouraged to decorate their float in “holiday style” using lights. One float per organization/business. There is no fee to register a float. There will not be awards for floats this year.
The parade route will begin at the Armouries, moving downtown on Raglan Street South, ending at Munroe Avenue.
Visit Renfrew County Voices who will be set up along Railway Avenue starting at 4:00 pm for Games, Hot Chocolate, a Stationary Float, and Collecting Letters to Santa.
Warming Station: Community Living Renfrew County South (326 Raglan St. S.) will have their doors open between 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. Warm up and grab a treat and a hot beverage.
Pictures with Santa will happen immediately following the parade at the Recreation Centre (67 Argyle St. S.). Goodie bags will be handed out by Santa’s Helpers. While you wait for your picture with the big guy, you can fill out your letter to Santa, enjoy some hot chocolate, and play some games and do a craft.
*Bring your own camera/phone to have your picture taken with Santa.
Street Closures:
•Railway Avenue will be closed between Raglan Street South and Plaunt Street from 3 pm until parade is finished (approximately 7 pm).
•Highway 60 (Veterans Memorial Boulevard/Raglan Street South) will be closed between Barr Street and Munroe Avenue at 5:45 pm until parade passes through.
